Evi is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Human Biology. She started her PhD in 2021 at Maastricht University at the department of Nutrition and Movement Sciences, focusing on pharmacological inhibition of ketohexokinase in inborn and acquired metabolic disorders. She obtained her PhD in June 2026. As of February 2026, she started as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Human Biology, Maastricht University, where she is focusing on weight loss strategies and energy metabolism in individuals with Obesity.
