Kenneth Pasmans

Kenneth Pasmans is a PhD student at the Department of Human Biology, Maastricht University Medical Center+. As of March 2018, he is involved in two research projects. One project focuses on the effects of hepatic steatosis (fatty liver) on skeletal muscle. Skeletal muscle atrophy and insulin resistance are the main points of interest. For another project, he is investigating the glycemic response to sucrose ingestion in humans, and whether this can be influenced by supplementation with L-arabinose.
