Michelle Pang

Michelle Pang obtained her PhD in 2024 at the department of Human Biology. Her research focused on the prolonged effects of sweeteners and sweetness enhancers on health, obesity and safety, with a specific focus on insulin resistance, lipid metabolism, and ectopic fat accumulation. Her research was carried out in an in vivo clinical setting. She will continue her scientific career as a postdoc at health services research in Maastricht.
