Michelle Pang

Michelle Pang is employed as a PhD-candidate at the Department of Human Biology. Her research focuses on the prolonged effects of sweeteners and sweetness enhancers on health, obesity and safety, with a specific focus on insulin resistance, lipid metabolism, and ectopic fat accumulation. Her research is carried out in an in vivo clinical setting. Michelle Pang received her BSc in Health Sciences at Maastricht University in 2017. In 2019, she received her MSc Biomedical Sciences with the specialization in Nutrition, Physical activity, and Metabolism.
